Music Kitchen exists to bring top artists in concert in homeless shelters for those who, at this particular moment in their lives, have little or no access to great music in a great concert hall.  Though Music Kitchen artists perform all over the world, Music Kitchen as an organization has never had a reason to present concerts to the public until now with our Forgotten Voices song cycle project.  Through that unique and historic project, we are taking what we have learned over Music Kitchen's 15-year history, the voices and stories of the clients we have served, and bringing it to you, the public for our eventual world premiere at Carnegie Hall.  But for now, in another unique moment, when we are all (hopefully) practicing social distancing to finally one day put this pandemic behind us, we are very happy to share with you a rare glimpse into our shelter concerts and a chance to meet the artists who bring these concerts and the Forgotten Voices project to life.  I hope you will join us for Midsummer Night Stream, Music Kitchen's first ever virtual summer festival!  Beginning next Wednesday July 22 for a total of 5 consecutive Wednesdays, join us to watch our shelter performances and meet the artists and composers!

ZoomCast details coming soon!  See below for our composer and artist lineup.

Truly, this moment in time is pulling back the veil to reveal that elevating to center stage the forgotten voices among us is more important now than ever before.

As always, I hope you will include Music Kitchen and the Forgotten Voices project in your giving by clicking here and I look forward to seeing you next week!
Warmest Regards,
Kelly
