Mixtroz Wins Women’s Business Enterprise Council South Rising Star Award

Birmingham, Alabama – August 8, 2019 – On Wednesday, July 31, Mixtroz was presented with the Rising Star Award by the Women’s Business Enterprise Council (WBEC) South at their recent Power Luncheon.  Women’s Business Enterprise Council (WBEC) South is a regional partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the largest certifier of women-owned businesses (WBEs) in the U.S. and a leading advocate for women business owners and entrepreneurs.

Mixtroz is thrilled to have been awarded such an esteemed award.  “Obtaining WBEC certification has been a game-changer for our business both in client acquisition and in enlarging our community.  We have gained great cheerleaders, connectors and friends. It’s such an honor to be recognized by WBEC South!”, says Kerry Schrader, Mixtroz Co-founder and CEO.

WBEC South provides a nationally recognized certification program, the WBENC Certification, for the states of Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and the Florida Panhandle.  Mixtroz was certified and became a member of this distinguishable organization at the beginning of 2019.
