SYDNEY ADEDAMOLA 2019–2020 SECTION SECOND VIOLIN
Born
and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Sydney Adedamola has spent most of
her young adult life in Los Angeles. She graduated in May 2018 with a
Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Southern California’s
Thornton School of Music, where she studied with Bing Wang, Margaret
Batjer, Dr. Lina Bahn and Glenn Dicterow. Sydney was most recently a
recipient of the Los Angeles Orchestra Fellowship, a collaboration
between the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, the Inner City Youth
Orchestra of Los Angeles and the University of Southern California.
During her time in LA, Sydney held positions with various orchestras
including the Long Beach Symphony and Debut Chamber Orchestra and served
as principal second violin of the USC Symphony. She has also performed
with the Pacific Symphony, Kansas City Symphony, Los Angeles Chamber
Orchestra and the National Repertory Orchestra.
