"Sounds and Swells"
FREE Community Concert

 Monday, April 1, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.
Stone Brewing Company in Liberty Station
2816 Historic Decatur Rd. San Diego CA 92106
Before paddling out, a surfer watches the sets roll in and gauges the rhythm of the swells: bigger, smaller, faster, slower and hopefully not too disorganized. The string quartet works to perform in perfect harmony, aligning their sound waves like a corduroy swell. Sounds and Swells pairs a curated selection of surf footage and classical music with a live performance by the Hausmann Quartet, playing works by Philip Glass, Lou Harrison, Claude Debussy and others. Perfection from mother nature and humankind combine as one in this unique multimedia event, curated by Dr. Eric Starr.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy an evening of surf, sounds and swells. It all takes place in the Movie Courtyard at Stone Brewing Co., who will be offering beer and food for purchase.
