From August 30, film fans will have the chance to experience, exclusively at Vue Islington, a powerful celebration of impactful dramas, documentaries, animations and short films from across the world at the I Will Tell Film Festival.

This year’s speakers include Dionne Walker, award-winning producer of The Hard Stop, Chi-Chi Nwanoku OBE, founder of Chineke!; Europe’s first majority black and minority ethnic (BAME) Orchestra and Junior Orchestra, film directors James Pinedo (The Extrovert), Mischa Marcus (I am Still Here), Jonas Schaul (Kingston Crossroads), as well as other producers and filmmakers from the UK, USA and Europe. The musical force is strong in this year’s festival, with the roots revival in Kingston Crossroads, jazz as a force for good in Sweet Dillard and the story of a phenomenal African-American woman’s role classical music in Caged Bird.
