On November 21, 2015, MusicUNTOLD presented a concert at DAR
Constitution Hall in Washington DC to celebrate the 150th anniversary of
13th Amendment to the US Constitution. The Howard University Color Guard opened the program.
Howard University contributed performances by soprano Liana Valante, pianist/composer Karen Walwyn, Howard University Choir, and lectures by historian Edna Green Medford. Richard Theodore Greener became the first African American student at Harvard University in 1865. He earned a bachelor's degree from Harvard in 1870 and served as the first Dean of Howard Law School (1878-1880).
