William Grant Still (1895-1978) is profiled at AfriClassical.com, which features a comprehensive Works List by Prof. Dominique-René de Lerma, http://www.CasaMusicaledeLerma.com.

Piano works of William Grant Still have been recorded by a number of fine artists, including Monica Gaylord, Althea Waites, Mark Boozer and Seta Karakashian.  The program which has the most works in common with the Denver Oldham recording is that of Mark Boozer, Naxos 8.559210 (2005), but there are differences in their repertoires.  The Oldham recording has long been out of print.

Review (Excerpt)
Denver Oldham plays lovingly, with a sensitive touch and a beautiful feel for the relaxation inherent in many of these pieces. This is music which cannot be rushed, and Oldham is always patient with it. Koch has captured his Steinway effectively; it sounds full and yet intimate throughout. This disc is a lovely tribute to a memorable composer.
