As President of the Long Beach Central Area Association, we focus on presenting arts programs that develop understanding, awareness, appreciation of differences, and strengthen bonds of peoplehood.
  
The daughter, Alicia Dwyer, of a close friend, graduated from USC School of Film and was hired as associate producer for the documentary “Into the Arms of Strangers: Stories of the Kindertransport”. Alicia connected me to the film producers, Warner Brothers publicist, and others necessary for the privilege to screen the documentary, December 14, 2000, The Art Theater, Long Beach, Ca.
