June 30, 2016, Washington, DC-- Past NOBLE Executive Director, Dr. Elsie L. Scott was a guest of Bobby Gailes, host and producer of Taking it to the Streets, a program on Howard University's WHUR radio station. Dr. Scott touched on key highlights of next month's NOBLE 40th Anniversary Training Conference and Exhibition. The program aired on the Taking it to the Streets segment of the nationally syndicated Steve Harvey Morning Show on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. Below is an excerpt of Dr. Scott's interview:
The
annual conference is the year's largest gathering of international black
law enforcement executives and partner communities. More than 2,000
people attend the national conference annually. This year's conference
will have the Honorable Loretta Lynch, United States Attorney General
and Dr. Lee Brown, former Mayor of Houston as special guest speakers and will offer attendees a wide array of plenaries, professional receptions, forums and technical workshops.
The
community is invited to join NOBLE at its Town Hall, Memorial March at
Howard University, and its Exhibition Hall. These events are free and
open to the general public.
