Dominique-René de Lerma: Call for Suggested Content for Black Music Text Book

Dominique-René de Lerma:

I am working on a Black music text book, in which the music (largely internet accessed) is the major focus, significantly enhanced by sociological and historic data.  The chronological scope will address all genres, centuries, and geographical regions.  I would deeply appreciate all suggestions from interested persons, regardless of any classroom experiences, who would wish to express any suggestions (specific or general) for possible inclusion.  Participants will be credited.  Projected audience: individuals (self-study), liberal arts students, music majors, upper-level undergraduates, and graduate students.
There will also be an instructor's edition which will include resources for additional research, for example journals, newspapers, and dissertations, that may be consulted by the instructor or advanced students.
Comments by the end of April may be sent to dsl@afgconsulting.org.
