PROGRAM: Listzen, my husband is not a hat! for solo piano (1994) by Regina Harris Baiocchi Variations à due for saxophone and cello (1984) by Hale Smith Three Pieces for violin and piano (1967) by Dorothy Rudd Moore Triptych for clarinet, cello and percussion (2010) by Regina Harris Baiocchi Lamentations: Black/Folk Song Suite for solo cello (1973) by Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson Free Association for oboe, clarinet, cello by Donna Marsh Dialogues and Commentaries (1990-91) for flute, clarinet, violin, viola, cello, piano, and percussion by Hale Smith Portraits in Jazz for solo piano by Valerie Capers PERFORMERS: Patricia Morehead (oboe), Caroline Pittman (flute), CUBE Contemporary Chamber Ensemble brings new music to Chicago audiences through concerts with varied, imaginative programming.
