Dear friends!

It turns out that the segment broadcast on HEC-TV, "An Intercultural Instrument: The Fiddle" got two nods already: i. Emmy Award nomination in the category Best "Historical/Cultural - Program Feature Segment" (http://emmymid-america.org/awards/) and ii. National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) Award for "Educational Programming."

Many thanks to Bill Zick's blog, Prof Djedje, John Malveux and others for helping to spread the word about the feature. If you missed it, you may watch it online at http://www.hectv.org/video/14336/an-intercultural-instrument-the-fiddle/

Your "happy-happy" friends at African Musical Arts!
