Clipper Erickson in R. Nathaniel Dett's "Eight Bible Vignettes" Temple University, Nov. 11, 7:30 PM

R. Nathaniel Dett
(Library of Congress)

This Sunday, November 11, the centennial of the end of World War I, Clipper Erickson will give one of the most meaningful programs of his career.

At Temple University's Rock Hall, Clipper will give the first performance of Laurie Altman's Sonata #10 "Aleppo," a deeply moving and masterful work commemorating one of the seminal tragedies of our century so far. Paired with this is "Eight Bible Vignettes," Nathaniel Dett's final work expressing hope for a new beginning for humanity.

Don't miss this incredible evening of powerful music, old and new.
