April 23, 2016, marked the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death at age 52. His plays and sonnets have been performed in nearly every major language on every continent. Scholars are unsure who is the Dark Lady in Sonnets 127-154. The most likely  three candidates include Black Luce, owner of  London brothel. See pic from exhibit at Los Angeles Main Library.
