Mickey Thomas Terry writes:

On Friday, September 23rd at 7pm, Mickey Thomas Terry will be performing two organ works by black composers (George Walker and Adolphus Hailstork) as part of the pre-inaugural concert in celebration of the opening of the National Museum of African American History and Culture at the Smithsonian Institution. The performance, which will also include black composer works for chorus and solo voice, will be held at the National City Christian Church on Thomas Circle, (Massachusetts Avenue and 14th Street) NW. Admission is free.
