Pleased
be advised that with much disappointment and heartfelt regret, the 2016
African Diaspora World Tourism Awards and Travel Expo that was set to
take place this week-end has been cancelled.
Because our two main sponsors who had committed to presenting the awards
event pulled out the last minute and the lack of people paying the cost
to register for the event and hotel accommodations, we have had to
cancel. The hotel would not grant us the banquet space at discount cost
when the desired occupancy rate that we committed to at the hotel was
not met.
We have
had no choice but to cancel. We will be meeting with people who are
still coming to Atlanta. Refunds will be given back next week.
Still
congratulations to awards recipients. We still honor you and hope that
you will keep up the good work. Keep the faith and let's all keep
moving forward.
