Joyce Foundation to Support Major CBMR Project
The Joyce Foundation has awarded the CBMR a $40,000 grant to help support the creation, installation, and presentation of FREE/PHASE,
a major three-part multi-media installation in Chicago by artists Mendi
and Keith Obadike. The commissioned suite of works is timed to
celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation and the
30th anniversary of the CBMR.
