Hello everyone,

Last evening, the Morgan State University Choir sang for the lighting of the Christmas Tree at the Washington Monument at Mt Vernon Place in Baltimore, MD.  The event was scheduled to air on WBAL-TV at 7 PM, however, due to the important coverage of the death of the patriarch of the South African nation, Nelson Mandela, WBAL postponed the live coverage of the annual Baltimore event until 7:30 PM.  We sang between 7:04- 7:15, however, the editors at the station believed that it the choir's performance was important enough to tape our performance and air it when the coverage began at 7:30 PM.  Please click on link below to see the video coverage of the choir singing Mel Tormé's "The Christmas Song".  Also see link below to a photo gallery from the Baltimore Sun with some good photos from the event.
