“The National Endowment for the Arts today announced 18 grants totaling $390,000 to cultural groups and artists in Michigan.”

“Sphinx Organization, Detroit: $55,000 for Sphinx Symphony, an ensemble of professional African American and Latino musicians.” [The Sphinx Organization was founded in 1996 by violinist Aaron P. Dworkin (b. 1970), who is profiled at AfriClassical.com.]
