Joy to the World
Greetings!
We are pleased to invite you and your family to attend our annual Holiday Celebration for its first time at the Virgil H. Carr Cultural Arts Center by the Opera House in downtown Detroit. We have been performing every Christmas season for 10 years and each year we find new ways to spread fun and good cheer. Partnering with the Virgil Carr DOUBLES the fun with a post-concert event you won't want to miss! I'll explain in a minute.

“This December 3rd concert beginning at 7:30pm on the 2nd floor will feature our strikingly good Detroit Symphony Orchestra musicians performing both symphonic and intimate Christmas, Hannukah and even Kwanzaa classics. Familiar and fascinating Nutcracker dances, personal expressions of Greensleeves and Gesu Bambino, and your participation in Sleigh Ride and singing carols and the Hallelujah Chorus will make a night you won't soon forget!

“After the concert, join me with your instruments and singing voices in the rathskeller for a classical music JAM SESSION. EZ to READ music will have us ALL making music together and we may even have a Messiah sing-a-long too! Bring more music too. The Classical Revolution has BEGUN! It's all for fun and fun for all!
Sincerely,
Rick Robinson
