NANM Presents 'Celebrating the Life of Raoul Abdul,' St. Peter's Church, NYC March 13

NANM Branch President Robert S. Newton sends us this news:
“February 11, 2010
Dear Friend,
On Friday, January 15, 2010, Raoul Abdul, classical singer, noted music historian, with an unparalleled knowledge of African-Americans in classical music, passed. He will, of course, be missed by many.

“On Saturday, March 13, 2010, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the Thomas Music Study Club Branch of the National Association of Negro Musicians, Inc. plans to present a special program in his honor entitled “Celebrating the Life of Raoul Abdul”. This program will take place at St. Peter’s Church, 619 Lexington Avenue, (at the corner of 54th Street and Lexington Avenue), New York, N.Y. 10022.
