Ritz Chamber Players Season Finale Is Moved from June 14 to June 15 at 4 PM

On June 11 AfriClassical posted “Ritz Chamber Players Offer Free Music Downloads for Black Music Month”. Today we learned that the Season Finale of the Ritz Chamber Players has been moved from Saturday, June 14 to Sunday, June 15 at 4:00 PM. Here is a summary of the concert from the ensemble's website: “The Ritz Chamber Players bring a dynamite close to our 2007-2008 concert season with the greatest of American harpists, Anne Hobson-Pilot! We will all dance our way into summer with our performance of Debussy's Danse sacrée for Harp and Strings. The harp is among the most ancient of instruments, whose existence is documented as far back as 3,000 B.C.! Make plans to join the preeminent artists of The Ritz Chamber Players performing wide-ranging selections with astounding artistic combinations.”

I personally love the Ritz Chamber Players and have for a long time. I am so grateful someone is giving them the attention they deserve! And for anyone who has not heard them, you can go to their web site and visit the listening room.
