WETA Podcast Interview with Mickey Thomas Terry-The Life and Legacy of George Walker

Dr. Mickey Thomas Terry writes:

On Tuesday, February 8, Mickey Thomas Terry's WETA podcast interview on the life and legacy of George Walker will air.  This interview is one of many events this year in celebration of the centenary of George Walker, the first Black ever to be awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Music.
  
Dr. Terry shared a 25-year friendship with the composer, recorded his organ works, and published an interview with Walker that appears in The Music Quarterly (Fall, 2000).  

The podcast will be available in podcast apps (Apple, Spotify, etc.) and online. It will be promoted on WETA's social media, and over the air for two weeks in a 30-second ad on Classical WETA, 90.9fm.
