The Lacrimosa Project The Lacrimosa (Latin for “weeping/tearful”)  is part of a powerful Requiem composed in  D Minor by Mozart in 1791. In  consideration of our own New Orleans  community, so heavily impacted by COVID- 19, we have created this unique and  meaningful project to lift voices up in  memory of those in our community we lost.
