I wanted to share with you today's February 6th interview premiered 2 hours ago, titled StayTuned with Composer Adolphus Hailstork and Maestra Rei Hotoda of The Fresno Philharmonic.
They discuss the orchestra's January 2021 performance of Dr. Hailstork's An American Fanfare and upcoming works including, The George Floyd Requiem Cantata, Tulsa 1921 for Strings, Percussion, Harp and Mezzo Soprano, Wounded Children for solo piano - a reflection on the tragedy of children in cages at the southern border and his Fourth Symphony-- all to come during 2021 into 2022.
Such a wonderful prelude to the celebration of Hailstork@80 which launches on April 17th and goes through the end of March 2022
