NOBLE recognizes Juneteenth

It was June 19, 1865 when Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas with news of the end of the Civil War and the enslaved Africans were free.  This was more than two and a half years after President Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation - which became official January 1, 1863 and two months after the the war officially ended on April 9, 1865.

NOBLE joins our nation in marking 155 years since emancipation.
