Conductor Rafael Payare will be conducting the Chicago
Symphony Orchestra on Thursday Aug. 1 and Friday Aug. 2 at the CSO's
summer home at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park IL in concerts of
Beethoven symphonies and Brahms piano concertos
On
Thursday Aug. 1 the program will consist of Brahms Piano Concerto No. 1
with the acclaimed soloist Yefim Bronfman and Beethoven's Symphony No. 5
and on Friday Aug 2 Payare will conduct Beethoven's symphony No. 3
(Eroica): and the Brahms Piano Concerto No. 2 with pianist Emanuel Ax as
soloist.
Both concerts will begin at 8PM.
