June 7, 2019

The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra will present the Masterworks concert “Dancing with Demons” at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at Kresge Auditorium at MIT. Music Director Cynthia Woods will conduct the orchestra.

Arlington residents Vitaliy Slobotskoy, Dan Gordon and Kiana Labrecque, violinists, and April Greene-Colozzi, cellist, will perform as part of the orchestra.

The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra offers its first performance of the symphonic poem “The Oak” by Florence Price, an early 20th-century African-American composer whose works are experiencing a major contemporary renaissance thanks to her distinctive voice.
