final concert of the season
draws inspiration from the
thought-provoking “Homage to
the Square: on Dry Ground”
by Bauhaus
artist Josef Albers.
The simple, yet spiritually
uplifting artwork
reminds us
of the inherent beauty in
everyday shapes, colors and
sounds,
with musical works by
J.S. Bach, François Couperin,
Carlos Salzedo, Hans Werner
Henze, and Francis Poulenc.
