Quartet Fellowship Program Application Deadline, April 15
• The student body ranges from elementary school through and beyond college years.
• Students come from as close by as Philadelphia and as far away as Hong Kong, China, Peru, Korea, Bulgaria, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Peru, and Brazil.
• Graduates of DQMF go on to attend major music schools in the USA including the Curtis
Institute of Music, the Cleveland Institute of Music, Puerto Rico
Conservatory, Lynn Conservatory, Bard Conservatory, McDuffie Center for
Strings, and Venezuela’s Simon Bolivar Conservatory.
• DQMF is proud to have a 75% student return rate.
• DQMF has grown from 10 participants in 2004 to over 100 participants in 2018.
• Host families are available for out of state and international students over 16 years old.
The
Assistantship Program was founded in 2008 with the purpose to provide
an opportunity to selected parents, graduate, college and high school
students to assist in the process of producing a Festival. Assistants
are chosen to help in various areas including: production, junior music
coaching, logistics, administration, social activities, meals, facility
management, and other daily tasks.
