recognition to composer Adolphus Hailstork for commission from the Los
Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, as part of their 100th anniversary
season, has changed from previously reported custom award designed by
artist CJ Latimore to a portrait drawing by artist Abbas Nabegh. The
world premiere of STILL HOLDING ON by Adolphus Hailstork is 2:00
PM, February 17, 2019, Disney Concert Hall. Abbas Nabegh was
commissioned by MusicUNTOLD for 2018 portrait drawings to honor composer
Michael Abels for sound track of GET OUT and to the Long Beach Fire
Department after the passing of Otis Reid, the first African American Firefighter hired by LBFD. Date, time, and location of presentation to Dr. Hailstork is STILL pending but HOLD ON.
