Acclaimed Moroccan-Hungarian international pianist Marouan Benabdallah has embarked on a new tour of India between 17th - 27th November 2018. His tour dates include performances in Pune, Bangalore, Dimapur, Delhi and Trivandrum, featuring works by African composers Joshua Uzoigwe (Nigeria), Salim Dada (Algeria) and Nabil Benabdeljalil (Morocco).

Benabdallah received his training at the Bela Bartok Conservatory and the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, and in 2008, was presented with the Medal of the Hungarian Parliament for his achievement in music – an honor he shares with such artists as Placido Domingo, José Cura and others. Benabdallah first attracted international attention in 2003, following his triumphs at the Hungarian Radio Piano Competition, the Andorra Grand Prize, and shortly after, the Naples International Piano Competition. Marouan Benabdallah was a prizewinner at the Arthur Rubinstein Master Competition in Tel-Aviv, Israel, where the local media proclaimed his playing “miraculous” (Maariv).

In 2014 Benabdallah started his project "Arabesque", a series of recitals held in renowned concert venues presenting the music of composers from Morocco and the Arab world.
