We are thrilled to announce the recent appointment of PI Alum KELLEN GRAY as
Assistant Conductor of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra for the
2018-19 Season. Gray also made his Chicago debut on the podium during Praise and Punk, followed by the 2018 Sinfonietta Ball. LEARN MORE>
Last week marked the Lyric Opera debut for PI Conducting Fellow KEDRICK ARMSTRONG, who served as music supervisor on Empower! The
opera offers an autobiographical glimpse in to the lives of diverse,
emerging artists growing up on the South and West Sides of Chicago. LEARN MORE>
PI Conducting Auditor JONATHAN RUSH was
recently awarded the prestigious Respighi Prize in Conducting. As the
award winner, Rush will conduct a piece tonight at Carnegie Hall in New
