Afro-Cuban Composer Leo Brouwer
This week’s edition of Classical Guitar Alive! features an interview
with Leo Brouwer and the world premiere recording of his piece for
guitar quartet and orchestra, “Gismontiiana” based on the music of
Brazilian composer Egberto Gismonti, and music by Fernando Sor, Bela
Bartok, and a Scottish folk dance setting by Kennedy-Fraser.
