Michael Portillo paid a visit to West Croydon railway station this week to shoot scenes for the next series of the BBC's Great British Railway Journeys.
The presenter, who has hosted the programme for eight series, also visited Saint Michael's Church, on Poplar Walk, on Monday (July 10) to speak with members of the clergy for the show.
The new series of the programme will feature an episode on musician Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, who was raised in Croydon. It will include scenes shot in the borough.
