Eric Conway: Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 7PM, the Morgan State University Jazz Ensemble will be in concert; Melvin N. Miles, Director, is 2017 Jazz Hero for Baltimore

Hello Morgan Music Community,

On this coming Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 7PM, the Morgan State University Jazz Ensemble will be in concert. - General Admission is $15, Students $10 with ID.  Morgan boasts an instrumental ensemble that plays jazz extraordinarily well, rivaling any other institution in the country.

In addition to this concert, during the intermission, Melvin N. Miles, director will be honored by the Jazz Journalists Association.  Miles will be given an award as the 2017 Jazz Hero for Baltimore.  We are so very proud of Mr. Miles in all that he does for us at Morgan, around the community, and across the country.   See link below to the Journalists website announcing the selection.
