2017 is truly a year of opera — amongst other adventures.
ANON (commissioned by Welsh National Opera) received
its US premiere in February in a captivating new production by Peabody
Chamber Opera — JoAnn Kulesza, conductor, Courtney Kalbacker, director.
The premiere tour of my opera for children (commissioned by Mahogany Opera— The Lighthouse Wave
— has just finished. One of five SNAPPY OPERAS the idea is that
children themselves perform the works. The results have been
life-changing for all involved.
