CAAPA: Billie Holiday goddaughter jazz musician Mala Waldron combines her vocal prowess and impressive piano skills with immense charisma and down to earth soul. Immerse yourself in her jazz music featuring original compositions and standards at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage. Sponsored by arts organization Coalition for African Americans in the Performing Arts (CAAPA) helping to "Bring Color to the Classics!", Waldron will be joined on stage by Herman Burney on bass and Nasar Abadey on drums.
