Thank you for helping us close another strong year. Your ongoing support helps us power our programs and we’re looking forward to new beginnings. 

Over the last five years, the Schomburg Center has reached new heights under the leadership of Dr. Khalil Gibran Muhammad and it is with mixed emotions that we share that he has moved on to pursue a tenured position as Professor of History, Race, and Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School.

We wish Dr. Muhammad good luck in his new role and we are grateful for his dedication in strengthening our mission. Although he has moved on to the next phase of his career, he will never “move on” from the Schomburg Center. He is committed as a Schomburg Society member, just like you, and he is already working to partner with the Schomburg for a program next year, so stay tuned. 

Thank you for your role in all of our accomplishments. With your unwavering commitment, we have so much to be proud of and so much more to look forward to as the Schomburg settles in for its next 90 years.
