NOBLE President Gregory Thomas on Sirius XM with Joe Madison Thomas to speak of late boxing legend Muhammad Ali's commitment to social justice

June 10, 2016, NEW YORK, NY - NOBLE National President Gregory Thomas is scheduled to appear on The Black Eagle with Joe Madison on Sirius XM Urban View Channel 126 on Friday, June 10 at 8:20 AM EST to discuss the life and legacy of boxing legend Muhammad Ali. President Thomas will speak about the impact of Ali's legacy on sports and social justice and how NOBLE's mission mirrors the late champion's commitment to advocacy and service.
 

In a previously released statement, President Thomas noted that "Ali produced some of America's greatest sports memories from the Olympic Gold medal in 1960 to his climbing the steps to light the torch at 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and he was not just a boxing legend, but a civil rights champion and the conscience that uplifted our nation." Ali succumbed to a 32-year battle with Parkinson's disease on June 3rd. His funeral, with a long roster of dignitaries and celebrities including President Bill Clinton, Billy Crystal, and Will Smith, is scheduled for Friday, June 10, 2016 in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
