On May 17th Art of Élan presents its final concert of The San Diego Museum of Art 2015-2016 series with a program that contemplates the possibility of a common language for the 21st century, uniting works by today's most exciting composers with more established repertoire, including pieces by Villa-Lobos and Kevin Puts, as well as the Britten "Phantasy" for oboe and string trio and the San Diego premiere of a string quartet work by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw.

There are only a handful of tickets remaining for this show, which you can purchase through the link below:

Please also mark your calendars for our season finale on June 16th at Lux Art Institute, featuring flutist Demarre McGill & friends as a special dual celebration of innovation in the arts in Southern California. This exclusive event includes a sneak preview of Art of Elan's 2016-2017 10th Anniversary Season, which coincides with the 10th Anniversary of Lux Art Institute, and will be paired with an opportunity to view the works of resident artist Angela Kallus, including a meet-and-greet with the artist and a special pre-concert reception with the musicians. The colorful program, featuring works by Roussel, Ginastera, Jolivet, Ibert, and more explores the dichotomy between order and chaos in the last century, illuminating the impact of art in our lives. Tickets available either at the door or online through Ticketleap.

As always, we thank you for your ongoing interest and support and we look forward to seeing you at a concert soon!
