Dear Mr Zick,

My name is Yena Lee, and I am a Production Intern for The Dream Unfinished. I'm emailing to follow up with additional details to our event on July 17th. I believe Eun Lee contacted you months ago. The paragraph below describes our concert with the most updated information, including our list of prominent guests and our venue:

The Dream Unfinished: A Symphonic Benefit for Civil Rights is a gathering of orchestral musicians, and nationally prominent artists and figures, who will join the chorus of calls for an end to systemic racism. The concert will take place on July 17 at 7:30 pm at The Salvation Army’s Centennial Memorial Temple, on the one-year anniversary of Eric Garner’s homicide. Tickets will be $35 at the door and $25 online, if purchased prior to the event date. With sponsorship from The Salvation Army, Sankofa.org, and Beats, Rhymes, & Relief, proceeds from the concert will go to the Center for Constitutional Rights; The National Coalition of Law Enforcement Officers for Justice, and other community organizations. Guest speakers include MSNBC National Correspondent Joy-Ann Reid; activist Erica Garner; Center for Constitutional Rights’ director Vince Warren, and other notable figures. The program features William Grant Still; Leonard Bernstein; and a world premiere by Jessie Montgomery, and will be performed by a diverse orchestra led by Grammy-award nominated and Grammy- award winning conductors James Blachly and John McLaughlin Williams. Our title invokes Martin Luther King Jr.'s landmark speech, and it is for this dream that we have assembled; to raise our voices in support of those who have been silenced; and through music, inspire others to continue working towards a dream fulfilled.
