Synthia L. Hardy is an Emmy Award winning actress, singer, dancer who has
appeared on film, TV, and stages nationally and
internationally. Synthia received the 2011 NAACP Theatre Award for Best
One Person Show, "Billie! Backstage with Lady Day". Synthia shared a photo with John Malveaux immediately following the June 19, 2015 performance of "Billie! Backstage with Lady Day" directed
by Bryan Rasmussen at the Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks,
California. The play is enjoying a current hot run to celebrate the
100th birthday of Billie Holiday. The performance included a delicate
and steaming live jazz quartet.
