of Morgan State
University:

Hello all,

The Morgan State University Choir performed at another historic event today at the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC.  US Attorney General Loretta Lynch recently heard the Morgan State University Choir in April during the Live at the White House event featuring Music in the Gospel tradition.  After hearing the choir, she requested that the Morgan State University Choir sing during her official installation ceremony.  Today, we performed to a full-house at the historic Warner Theatre.  Barack Obama gave opening remarks just prior to our performance. Supreme Court Justice Sonia M. Sotomayor swore in our new US Attorney General.  After being sworn in, US Attorney General Loretta Lynch gave very eloquent remarks.  Please see attached a scan of the program, some photos of the theatre before during and after the ceremony and a YouTube link to our performance.  Again, for some reason perhaps divine, the choir continues to have great opportunities, NO blessings beyond measure. We will continue to try make Morgan proud!
