A huge statue of Abraham Lincoln in front of adjoining huge mosaics was located a short walk from the Hall of Liberty at Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills. Hall of Liberty was the location of concert to celebrate 150th anniversary END of CIVIL WAR & 13th Amendment ABOLISH SLAVERY on May 24, 2015. Please see photos of Abraham Lincoln Plaza, members of Buffalo Soldiers-Ninth & Tenth (Horse) Cavalry Association, and Colonel (Retired) Franklin J. Henderson standing with John Malveaux immediately after his preconcert lecture sharing information of United States Colored Troops and their role in the abolishment of slavery.
