Prof. Stan Ford

The Salzburg Institute Chamber Music Concert Series takes place under the auspices of the world-renowned singer, Grammy Award winner, Kennedy Center Honoree and Salzburg Institute Advisory Board Member, Grace Bumbry. Organized by Prof. Stan Ford, professor of piano at Mozarteum University and the Salzburg Institute’s artist-in-residence, the series supports Salzburg-based charities.

The 2014 concert series raised money for Salzburg’s “Kinderseelenhilfe,” which assists children and teenagers with mental disorders. To learn more about the important services  “Kinderseelenhilfe” offers, visit its website. In 2013 the Salzburg Institute Chamber Music Concert Series collected donations for the Salzburg Children’s Cancer Fund. The Fund provides a variety of programs and projects for children with cancer and eases the financial burden of their families. “A healthy person has a thousand wishes, a sick person has just one.” For more information, visit the Salzburg Children’s Cancer Fund website.

Visit the website of the Salzburg Institute Chamber Music Concert Series for more information about the previous season. The program for the 2015 Salzburg Institute Chamber Music Concert Series will be published in May 2015.
