John Malveaux celebrated Black History Month with renowned artist June Edmonds as she gave an artist’s insight into the artworks along the Metro Expo Line. The tour included works by important African American artists Michael Massenburg and Willie Middlebrook, among others. Edmonds has also contributed to Metro’s vast public art collection with custom mosaic artworks at Pacific Av Station in Long Beach. The free, one day only tour traveled from La Cienega/Jefferson Station in Culver City to Expo Park/USC Station.

See second photo with John in black hat and rain coat as June explains mosaic art pieces.
