Dominique-René de Lerma:

Baritone Norman Garrett was born in Lubbock TX. He earned his B.M. degree in voice from Texas Tech University and his M.M., also in voice, from The College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati.  Additional training was secured within the Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program at Washington National Opera. His voice teachers and coaches have been Gerald Dolter, Kenneth Shaw, Diana Soviero, Bill Stone, and Ruth Golden.
In the early part of his career he performed with the Kentucky Opera, the Cincinnati Opera (Opera Fusion and Outreach Programs), the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, the Southwest Florida Symphony (Ft. Myers), and the Penn Symphony Orchestra. He has also been a recitalist with the Dolce Suono Ensemble.
He was resident artist of Philadelphia's Academy of Vocal Arts for one year.
