St. Louis Symphony Members Play Le Chevalier de Saint-Georges, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Fred Onovwerosuoke, J.S. Bach & Others Jan. 24, Tavern of Fine Arts

Musicians of the Saint Louis Symphony perform the music of J.S. Bach among other great composers at the Tavern at 4 PM.

In preparation for their upcoming solos with the Symphony on January 30 & 31, Asako Kuboki (violin) and Jelena Dirks (oboe) run through Concerto in D Minor for Violin and Oboe and Andrea Kaplan (flute) runs through Sinfonia from Cantata BWV 209. Peter Henderson accompanies them on the piano. 

And then...Laura Ross (oboe), Kyle Lombard (violin), and Peter Henderson preview their upcoming Sheldon Classics concert. Works by St. Louis composer Fred Onovwerosuoke, Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor will be featured.



Fredo & AMA friends, you may follow link to Saturday January 24th concert at the Tavern of the Arts. SLSO musicians will be playing a mix of works by Bach, Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor including your Six Sketches for Oboes and Piano. Hoping that Fredo would be back in the States and can swing by unannounced?
