AUDITIONS!! 

OperaCréole will be holding general auditions!                                    
ALL voice types.

Tuesday January 27, 7-8:30pm                                                                                  
Xavier University Administration Auditorium

Requirements are:

1. Professional operatic training. 2. Interested in promoting composers of African descent.  3. Open to performing in non traditional venues.  4. Able to sightread and memorize rare music in various languages. (A lot of what we do may not be available on recordings)  5. Solid diction, especially in French. 6. Good acting skills. 7. Must commit to the group, and be available for weekly rehearsals.

Please have 3 arias prepared. One must be in French.

We are open to hearing potential guest artists outside of New Orleans.
